Lifehope Community Encounter - Summer Option: United Kingdom
Ministry Details Participant Profile Accommodation: Your first few days will be spent at our Lifehope Training Centre in dormitory style bunk beds as you get some orientation and training. You will then move to a team house as you join your church team. Most team houses have between 3 and 6 people. Food: Food will initially be provided at our Training Centre. As you move to a team house, you will take turns in cooking and each team member will be involved. Special dietary needs have to be communicated in advance. Travel: If possible, participants should fly into Birmingham International Airport and we will arrange for them to be met at the airport. Those flying into London or Manchester should take an airport transfer bus to Birmingham Central coach station and we will arrange for them to be collected from the station in Birmingham. Health: Participants should be in average good health and able to walk a reasonable distance without difficulty. Each participant is responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health and medical insurance. Visa: Nationals from the EU and EEA do not require a visa for the UK. For all other nationalities you will either require an acceptance letter in order to apply for a visa or just a course acceptance letter to present at the airport on arrival in the UK. In both cases you will enter the UK as a Student Visitor. |
