Use your Profession in Mission! April 2020: Germany

Our maintenance team is looking for support! They are maintaining an old mill and are need people who can practically assist them.

We have several projects underway. Besides the maintenance of the mill, a part of the top floor is currently being converted into new office space. You will work alongside an experienced team.

The price quoted here does NOT include the costs of flights and travel insurance, but does include a $150 non refundable deposit.

Ministry Details

OM Germany is housed in an old grain mill. We are the head quarter for OM Germany and also run a guest house. The ship's office is also located on site, which takes care of the Logos Hope.

The construction team takes care of the practical things that arise in the house. This includes repairs, renovations and all kinds of other technical and practical activities. The team currently consists of three full-time employees, as well as a part-time employee and volunteers who support the team.

The whole team in Mosbach consists of about 80 employees who take care of all administrative matters for OM Germany. Here you can get a look into the mill and their story, the video is in german:

Participant Profile

You have a talent for craftsmanship or are a professional in a maintenance job as craftmen, electrician... You enjoy working in a team. You live in a relationship with Jesus and enjoy practically investing in the Kingdom of God. You can familiarize yourself well with the new fields of activity and let yourself be guided.

You speak English or German so you can communicate as a team. You are able to come for at least two weeks. The time can be extended for up to three months!


You will be accommodated in the guest house of OM Germany with other volunteers.


Through your accommodation in the guesthouse breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. The construction team also has a breakfast break. All meals are provided.

Please let us know in advance if there are any intolerances.


You have to make your own way to Mosbach (Baden). You can fly into Frankfurt (FRA) or Stuttgart (STR).

Frankfurt ist about a two hour train ride to OM Germany. Stuttgart about two and a half train ride.

There is the Mosbach West train station right on the opposite side of the mill. You will get instructions how to get to us, after confirmation of your application.


You should be in good health and able to work practically for a whole day!

This option is available from two weeks onwards. We are able to receive people for a extension up to three months. The dates are also flexible. So you just have to check with us the time frame you are available.
